Chronic Waste Disease and Out of State Hunting

If you hunt in a state that has Chronic Waste Disease regulations You'll need the following measurements before you remove the hide from the head in order for your taxidermist to properly mount your trophy.

1. From the tip of the nose to the front corner of the eye.
2. Neck circumference at the base of the jaw (first vertebra).
3. From the antler burr to the rear of the eye.
4. Antler placement measurements:

D1. Measure 3" up from the tip of the nose and mark.
D2. From this mark measure to the tip of the right antler.
D3. From this mark measure to the tip of the left Antler.

5. From the tip of the nose to the corner of the mouth.
6. From the tip of the nose to the edge of the bottom lip.
7. Eye positioning measurements:

G1. Across the head between the front corners of the eyes.
G2. Across the head between the rear corners of the eyes.
